Children, youth & family

Faith that grows with your family.

From the very first days of life through confirmation and beyond, we walk alongside children, youth and parents. Our youth programs are a huge part of who we are at Trinity.

First Communion

Trinity offers First Communion instruction during the 5th grade year, and young people are invited to take their First Communion during worship. It's a joyful day for the whole congregation.

It's also perfectly fine if your child is already receiving Communion or would like to begin right away. This is lifelong learning, and we invite everyone to keep the learning alive!

Youth Group

Lock-ins, paintball and pizza, service projects, game nights in the Youth Room and plenty of deep conversation. Youth Group meets Wednesdays at 7:15 pm.

The Youth Room

Renovated by our high schoolers: half classroom, half coffee lounge. Popular for Bible studies, homework time and movie nights.

Youth-led planning

High schoolers plan the year's events together. Bring your ideas!

Baccalaureate

Graduating seniors are blessed in worship the Sunday before graduation, as they embark on a new chapter.

Youth trips

Hearts & hands at work

Service trips step away from the everyday routine so youth can focus on their faith while serving communities where God is already at work.

Our trips build leadership, teamwork and perseverance through community work projects, devotions, youth worship and evening activities. Recent adventures include Christikon in Montana, serving with Love INC and the Hope Center in Rapid City, South Dakota, and Weeks of Mission close to home.

It was a Trinity mission trip that inspired our youth to start The Kitchen.

Dates and registration are announced each spring.

Green Lake Bible Camp

Trinity designates camp weeks each summer at Green Lake Lutheran Ministries: a week of fun, faith and fantastic food.

Scholarships are available. Don't let cost keep anyone home. If you need help with the deposit, let us know!
